A l'origine le thanksgiving était une fête donnée en remerciement pour la tribus indienne qui avait permis par leur aide alimentaire la survie des "pères pèlerins" les premiers colons anglais. Quand on voit comment ces colons ont par la suite traité ces indiens les usa devraient avoir honte de célébrer cette fête !
