@wariat @agturcz miałem podobnie, binary-based distros są irytujące w zupełnie inne ciekawe sposoby, ale w końcu okazało się że NixOS ma zalety Gentoo (konfigurowalność i możliwość budowania ze źródła), zalety binarnych (prostotę, zaciąganie już zbudowanych jeśli są) i dodatkowo parę swoich zalet (konfigurowanie wszystkiego w modułach nix zamiast grzebać w różnych formatach różnych konfiguracji rozrzuconych po całym /etc jest 10/10) i teraz Gentoo mnie tylko bawi :D

@thor their thin handles make them so good for that, there are stamped metal spoons with wide handles that are nearly as bad at it as knives

Our new Contact Scopes feature is now available in the Alpha channel. It provides a way to avoid granting the Contacts permission for apps requiring it. It's similar to our Storage Scopes feature replacing needing any of the media/storage permissions.

@thor that's certainly a part of it, but I'd mostly associate it with how the entire industry kept benefiting from the others' research which is a nice positive feedback loop.
