@thor I don't know how it was in Norway, but in Poland it was the occupational government chosen by the Germans and under German control, making camps on Polish soil and killing Polish people within them. They were German camps in Poland.
@thor it was only Germany who had concentration camps. They had them in occupied countries but they were theirs.

@libreleah @strypey they've been under corrupt governments ruling with an iron hand and propaganda for most of the country's history, the corruption is deeply ingrained in their politics, systems and culture. One can hope for a better outcome, but even if Putin's gov falls it'll most likely just be the Putin situation all over again, they'll do a show of condemning those whose reputation can't be salvaged and then elect another despot comrade with connections with the rest of the rotten roots. You'd have to throw out pretty much the entire administration on all levels to have a chance of a decent government but at this point the majority of the populace is so brainwashed and mis-educated that they might not be able to achieve that even then.
It's a sad situation with seemingly the only good outcome being the breakdown of Russian Federation into member countries with different governments that can keep each other in check, provide good examples and be less threatening to their neighbours. Not likely.

@dave same for most issues honestly, people will make insane shit up just to convince themselves they're aware of some higher truth hidden from normies. The more obvious is the issue the more it's supported by majority and the more insane shit contrarians are willing to make up and believe in to fuel their superiority complex. The war is one of the better examples recently though.
This is basically the web / app experience of everyone using a language with latin-esque alphabet but with diacritics. People choose a fancy font, don’t bother to check if its authors bothered to include diacritics, and without a thought apply it to the translated versions.
