@freemo They invented the *old* definition of vaccination, before it was redefined to include literally anything the drug companies wanted to put into a syringe and be immune against liability for.

@ryan @freemo There was the old rabies vaccination where a scientist was experimenting with a lethal virus and the nervous tissue from animals that died from rabies.

I think the rationale for vaccinating the little girl who was bitten by a rabid dog was that it worked on animals and she would likely die with or without it in the worst case.

Old vaccines and inoculations were somewhat horrifying. Vaccinations have been whatever the company decides for some time.

Much like the old vaccines, the long term effects will have to be observed. Perhaps there will be some changes in ethics regarding vaccines, especially the trials.

It's a new frontier and perhaps ethics will make a return like the seemingly inevitable untreatable gonorrhea that's on the horizon.
