@tuv @bettio If you want to try the hardware, I'd recommend Mr. Lee's work.
When I first got my hands on the hardware I think it took about a week to get everything working and even then it was buggy.
Comparing the ESP32 to the BL602 was easy as the BL is deceptively sophisticated compared to the ESP products available at the time.
I do believe that the RISC-V based ESP chips are easier to develop for but I can't make any guarantees. It gets very weird when one wants to understand how it works.
