Are you around LA and need something fun to do next Saturday? LA Maker Faire is 9-5 Apr 1 at the LA Historic park and we’ll have a booth there! There are over 200 booths, Bill Nye is speaking, it’s FREE, and close to the Chinatown Metrolink stop. It’s a no-selling event, so we’ll have a bunch of kits on display and would love to chat with makerspaces & organizations that want to teach soldering!

Well what did you think I'd ask a chatbot about?

The advice is pretty good in this case.

If your TDD Unit Tests don't thoroughly check input ranges and types, output, and all errors you can raise then what you have is just an abstract interface class with extra steps.

New mini project in progress. I took a 2xCR2032 battery holder and wrapped the power wires around bendable armature wire to form a stem. Soldered a color changing LED to the ends of the wires and placed it inside a 3D printed "flower" with a translucent center. The vase is a very nice (scaled down) design from @printablescom.

Hey we finally have these in our store! We made a bunch of Coin Cell Power boards last summer to make our own badge displays, and now you can make them too! It’s a super thick board that just plugs straight into a side-loading CR2032 connector, power in via USB-C. Each comes with a JST cable for daisy-chaining them together as well. Check it out!

Happy Monday! We have the highlights up from the livestream we did with @LaserMistress ! There was so much good chat about lasers and making and paths into STEM that it was really hard to cut it down into smaller chunks, but we managed a few 10-20 min segments for you. :) Here’s the link! m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL
