It has been too long since I last reminded you that I love you and for that I apologize; life gets in the way of the important things sometimes.
I love you.
"But why are you still on Twitter?"
Listen. I am an internet ancient. I stood amidst LiveJournal as it crumbled while I watched the fall of Flickr. I was there both times Tumblr burned down, toasting marshmallows over its smouldering ruin, laughing at the folly of Verizon. The death of Twitter was foretold by the dark prophecies of the forgotten internets. I am there to witness its passing as the old internet is dying and the new internet struggles to be born. Now is the time of monsters.
It's 11:10 AM Eastern and I'm glad you are alive.
Thank you for being here with me.

Welcome to #DatasheetDigest - In this episode we analyze and review the Texas Instruments CD4017B Decade Counter Datasheet.
Hey there friend; has anyone told you that they're proud of you lately?
We may not tell you often enough but we are.
We know you're doing your best.with what you have.

We had fun last night building this awesome ballon with @ItsMrJP and chatting about making and what drew him to balloons! Check the video out on YouTube, and the audio is up in podcast form in all the podcast places.

This week on the livestream we're making a tiny LED balloon with @ItsMrJP ! JP is a friend who we had the privilege of sharing a tent with recently at LA Maker Faire, and he's been on a hot air baloon 3D printing and lighting kick for a while now. We'll hear how he got started, what keeps him going, and what the challenges are in making a kit for others to build balloons. Join us tomorrow 04/20 at 4pm Pacific! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7_Y3E-ANH8
@swamptin all beards that are cared for are glorious!
Hey I know that you have a hard time believing me when I tell you but you really are so beautiful.
I hope you learn to see yourself the way we all see you.
Took a tiny @adafruit 8x8 APA102 matrix, put a #Pixelblaze Pico controller behind it, attached my behind-the-neck battery holder for power, and 3D printed a bezel that holds an LED acrylic rectangle a few mm in front of the LEDs for a diffuse effect. It took a lot of fiddling to get all the dimensions right, but it turned out to be a very pretty pendant. This build was inspired by @wizard's "Beautiful Box" desktop toy.
@louzao that's what I'm doing!
Someone else made the device and now I break it and write detailed reports about how.
Or, more accurately, I make robots to do that for me.
@louzao It's fun! I get to design a little bit of electronics, write some drivers, write some tests, and document and maintain it all. It's seldom boring or repetitive.
