I have a friend (who I have worked for and trust) who's looking for advice/help with creating a windows driver for a piece of hardware he's making (USB/WiFi).

Have you written a modern NDIS layer Windows driver for Win7-10?

This is a paying gig. DM me for details.

It's 7:05 PM Eastern and I'm glad you're alive; thanks for being here with me.

Working on a more durable LED cuff bracelet design (original on right, new version on left) is the perfect chance to check out the new network sync feature that @wizard added to the #pixelblaze controller. Verdict: it is AMAZING!!! 🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍

I'm heading up to Thotcon this weekend for the first time; who's going to be there and what advice do you have for this con?

Today can be a difficult day for many people. Please remember that and treat each other with care today.

Do you have LED problems? We definitely have #ledproblems. And now, we have something NEW in the shop to help - meet Blinky the WS2812 LED! They're here to help in the form of a box that can hold your 13cm reels and lots of misc LEDs! It wouldn't be an Alpenglow kit if it didn't also have a circuit, so we've provided 3 self-blinking single-color LEDs (one each RGB for each die in a WS2812), wires, and a battery so you can make Blinky properly light up. Check it out! alpenglowindustries.com/store/

Making a second rainbow fish to see how well this project works with fleece fabric. Apparently fleece laser cuts and etches quite well. Currently waiting for the second set of scales to print before sewing them into the interior along with the electronics.

I purchased vector files for a stuffed fish pattern from Etsy, and laser cut the pattern pieces from PVC-free faux leather, etching the details of the face and fins with the laser. Adding a zipper to the bottom piece makes it easy to place the electronics. I laser cut holes in the side pieces, and 3D printed a matching arrangement of scales from translucent PLA onto fabric. Small string lights are sewn behind the scales and power comes from a #Pixelblaze and phone charger stuffed inside.

Because too many of us don't hear this often enough.

I'm just trying to help out a little.

Three years ago, we shut down and made face shields. None of the hospitals and nursing homes had face shields at this time. By working with Caskets and More of Augusta, we produced over 2,500 face shields all for no charge.

Sometimes the kindness you must do for a friend is to gently and carefully explain why you think they're making a mistake that's unnecessarily causing someone harm.

Sometimes you're the one getting the message.

Be thoughtful and together we can grow and do better.

Remember that you are worth it.

I know you don't always feel like you are but I promise you really are worth it.

I'm pulling for you.

When taking an EDA design and running it in a Pick and Place, we use the EDA's position file. This file has all of the coordinated and rotations for each component.

Remember to be kind to yourself and each other; the world is still rather a lot to deal with.
