Oof, I was just reminded of how much I miss tiny drone racing. I still have several and all my gear, just need some new 1S batteries.

Hello! I'm a maker, LED enthusiast, electronic artist, software developer, 3D printer, laser cutter, and hardware hacker.
I sell and share what I make as Evil Genius Labs: https://evilgeniuslabs.org
If you like anything you see here, it might be available in my store:

We just did a major restructuring of our website and would like to entice you to check it out with coupon code MAKEOVER. We finally migrated all the yarn tools and content on the OG Alpenglow Yarn website to Alpenglow Industries, let me know what you think! https://www.alpenglowindustries.com/
Also I now know way more about 301 redirects than I ever wanted to. Goodbye 8 hrs on a Sunday figuring out how to not pay for hosting and still implement page-level ones.
Scored a stunning, sound-reactive LED pillow by @flashingjanet in a #makergiftexchange and I have been carrying it with me and talking to it to watch it react. The black mesh cover creates a lovely moiré effect. Janet creates amazing LED wearables and decor and is worth following!
Testing two different etched patterns for the edge-lit acrylic inside the PCB sides of the truncated icosahedron. Not sure if I like the star or flower designs better, or if I should use some other pattern. Opinions and ideas are welcome. I want each side to be partially transparent and partially etched. Eventually I'll add hot glue to help pipe light from the LEDs to the acrylic pieces at the corners.
It's 2:52 PM Eastern and I'm glad you're alive.
Thanks for being here with me.
Remember to drink some water and get some rest when you can.
Inside of the hat in under 60s. If you can solder, have worked with addressable LEDs, & can crochet, you can do this! Grab yourself some yarn, a string of LEDs, a Pixelblaze, & a battery and get to it! Hat construction is hdc from the top down. I’m working on a plug-and-play kit that eliminates soldering and makes things swappable for yarn folks & easier for everyone, really. I’m roping @wizard into my evil LED plans, tho that didn’t take much arm-twisting. Stay tuned, cool things coming up!
You all need to follow @flashingjanet who just joined mastodon.

Dark times are here; so many people are being hurt and having their humanity needlessly challenged. My heart is breaking.
You're not alone. We will make it through this together.
Super stoked to finally be able to share this! It’s an LED #crochet hat that I made for the maker gift exchange this year! This came out so freakin well that I’m making more and am developing a plug-and-play system/kit so that yarnies without electronics experience will be able to easily add LEDs to their projects.
It's been awhile since I last reminded you that I love you.
I love you.
Thanks for being a part of my life. Even if it's a small part it's valued.
I made a PCB icosahedron for a #makergiftexchange, learning a lot in the process. I wanted it to be see-through, so the sides have triangular holes containing etched acrylic pieces illuminated at the corners. Laser cut faux leather covers the outside. A #Pixelblaze controls the patterns.
It's 2:42 PM Eastern and I'm glad you're alive.
Thanks for being here with me.
You are more amazing than you realize.
Just a bump, last day for this! Thanks to everyone who has ordered, so many FUnicorns going to happy new homes, it makes me so happy.
