Hey if your Mailchimp classic templates are suddenly looking like shit on mobile, it’s because they added some Google Translate icon BS at FIXED points in the header, which causes your entire email to be wider than is good for mobile. The solution was to download the template html, search for “gtx-“ remove those divs, then re-upload the template.
You’re welcome.

My LED Orb project that I wrote up for @makemagazine is currently on the website with no paywall at https://makezine.com/projects/orb-sessed-led-sphere/ if anyone feels like tackling a fiddly, challenging, time-consuming project with a really cool end result! I'm very proud of the design as well as the very high pun-to-word-count ratio in the article.
Made my second sling bag in two days. This one is a "half-moon" bag I made following the instructions on a YouTube video. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mub9Kbs3LE) It was surprisingly straightforward to sew, and a good opportunity to use my recent impulse purchase of floral canvas fabric (it was on sale!) The only feature I don't love is that the lining is finished with binding on the inside, but no one else will see that part.

Getting to be friends (and collaborators) with super talented makers has some nice bonus benefits! In addition to the gorgeous Fibonacci heart pendant, @jasoncoon sent me a flexible PCB he designed and assembled (!) that has 128 tiny addressable LEDs laid out in a Fibonacci pattern, along with the vector file to cut out a faux leather cover. The whole assembly looks truly stunning in cuff bracelet form.

Casually reading the new issue of @makemagazine, I see a cool collaborative article and LED creation by @anu1905 and @arturo182. Then I unexpectedly see my name listed as an inspiration. 🥹🤗
Time to start going through my pockets and backpack and looking for all the blades and bladed tools I've forgotten are in there; tomorrow's the flight to #Defcon!
Finished stitching the sides with some waxed linen cord using a collapsible eye needle and some leather needles when I needed to open up the holes a bit.
All credit and glory to @geekmomprojects for the brilliant 3D printed bracelet and laser cut leatherette cover. I just swapped her hex grid for my own flexible Fibonacci128 HDR.
If nobody has reminded you that you're an amazing bad ass of a human being today I'd like to do so now.
Progress! With the help of @geekmomprojects's brilliant design, I've mounted the flexible Fibonacci128 PCB onto a 3D printed bracelet, and covered it with laser cut leatherette. Now I need to stitch the sides.
Prototype Fibonacci128 bracelet driven with a #Pixelblaze Pico by @wizard, powered by a 14500 LiPo, using a brilliant 3D printed bracelet designed by @geekmomprojects
Been meaning to share images of this gorgeous piece that @maketvee made. It's hard to communicate how lovely it really is IRL.
Tumbling toward the finish on Sensor Watch. I couldn’t order the last parts for this manufacturing run until I tested the new crystal and load capacitors. This time I’m using a GPS-disciplined oven controlled crystal oscillator, a frequency counter, and a n 8 Hz output from the real-time clock. Ideally I would like for this number to read 8.000000000 Hz precisely — but being off by 2.4 parts per million isn’t exactly a *bad* start. Trying again…
