It's 10:56 AM Eastern and I'm glad you are alive.
Thank you for being here with me. I appreciate you so much.
Informal poll. (Poll in followup post.) I’m almost certainly going to make Sensor Watch Pro next, which adds back the 9-pin connector and some other features. But now I’m tempted to build it for a different watch, the Casio W-217, which is a lot like the F-91W, but bigger and with more readable digits. Call it “Sensor Watch Pro Max” because there are no bad ideas. If I could only make one, which of these gadgets would you be more interested in?
The first ten boards. I suppose I ought to write a backer update right about now. Also: my guys in Georgia are the best. /cc @MakeAugusta
Low-key: the first ten Sensor Watch Lite boards have been made. The good folks at @MakeAugusta loaded up the pick and place today, made one panel and ran through the full test procedure, a not-so-dry run for the 2,000 boards to come.
Last week I shared this with patrons, but today it’s available for all: scenes from the mad dash to get these boards manufactured. Won’t be long now!

Hey there; I see you struggling.
I know it's hard right now but I'm proud of you for pushing forward.
Slow progress is still progress. You got this.
It's 3:12 PM Eastern and even though I'm still sick I'm also still glad you're alive.
Thank you for being here with me.
Hey if your Mailchimp classic templates are suddenly looking like shit on mobile, it’s because they added some Google Translate icon BS at FIXED points in the header, which causes your entire email to be wider than is good for mobile. The solution was to download the template html, search for “gtx-“ remove those divs, then re-upload the template.
You’re welcome.

My LED Orb project that I wrote up for @makemagazine is currently on the website with no paywall at https://makezine.com/projects/orb-sessed-led-sphere/ if anyone feels like tackling a fiddly, challenging, time-consuming project with a really cool end result! I'm very proud of the design as well as the very high pun-to-word-count ratio in the article.
Made my second sling bag in two days. This one is a "half-moon" bag I made following the instructions on a YouTube video. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mub9Kbs3LE) It was surprisingly straightforward to sew, and a good opportunity to use my recent impulse purchase of floral canvas fabric (it was on sale!) The only feature I don't love is that the lining is finished with binding on the inside, but no one else will see that part.

Getting to be friends (and collaborators) with super talented makers has some nice bonus benefits! In addition to the gorgeous Fibonacci heart pendant, @jasoncoon sent me a flexible PCB he designed and assembled (!) that has 128 tiny addressable LEDs laid out in a Fibonacci pattern, along with the vector file to cut out a faux leather cover. The whole assembly looks truly stunning in cuff bracelet form.

Casually reading the new issue of @makemagazine, I see a cool collaborative article and LED creation by @anu1905 and @arturo182. Then I unexpectedly see my name listed as an inspiration. 🥹🤗
Time to start going through my pockets and backpack and looking for all the blades and bladed tools I've forgotten are in there; tomorrow's the flight to #Defcon!
