Mastodon is 20x more addictive than Twitter for me. How do you all handle it???

@Demosthenes Wait until you see how much easier it is to get followers here too. I've seen users here who just post often and they have only been here a month and have hundreds of users.

Its amazing how such a smaller network than twitter can be so much more effective at connecting with people.

@freemo @Demosthenes i would say its addictive at the start the fediverse is kinda like facebook for me i'll chat with people everyday.

I've never actually gotten into Facebook. Their machine learning Feed always made me feel manipulated. This though... It's chronological and beautiful

@Demosthenes 2010 facebook was enjoyable but nowadays its mostly not so cool.

The last time I been asked do you have a Facebook, I didn’t tell him I deactivated it ...

@Sphinx @Demosthenes i still have mine but i think i might nuke it after the new layout.

@1iceloops123

I found the useful situation is when you try to find someone on Facebook, if you don’t have an account, you can not see their home page…:facebook:

@Demosthenes

@Demosthenes IDK about others...but I check mastodon before I look at texts from my daughter or grandkids! LOVE Mastodon...oh yeah, how I handle it? I just keep it up on my phone and laptop all the time. Like All. The. Time.

@Demosthenes

being addicted to twitter is a problem, like being addicted to eating arsenic.

being addicted to mastodon is like being addicted to healthy food. somewhat less of a problem.

@Nikolai_Kingsley @Demosthenes To Mastodon specifically? I wouldn't describe it that way. But each body has its own needs.
