@mhoran1158@brighteon.social only someone with a supremely coddled life and no understanding of the true cost of civil war could make such an infantile post.

covid, mh, meds question

@envgen for me, disconnecting from social media and news, and cutting back on caffeine helped with that portion of anxiety more than upping my meds. I did need to up them for the panic portion of my disorder though.

@jwildeboer not once yet. I got sick with something early on, but they didn't have the testing capacity at the time.

@Judy0309@social.quodverum.com @ilumanous this is definitely not my first post or comment, lol...

@SecondJon @ilumanous I think that Trump showed a willingness to ignore constitutional rights with that photo op at the church while Biden is threatening to instead change rights through the political process.

I disagree with a lot of the changes Biden wants, but at least he is willing to go though the political process, which will doubtless meet strong conservative pushback. Trump just ignores that and bypasses the constitution.

I really don't like biden BTW, and I think that he's a symptom of growing partisanship. But between him and Trump, I think I'm going (begrudgingly) with Biden.

@catgoat I'm not trolling. To troll is to agitate for fun. I try to discuss with accelerationists and people who don't know political history how their ideas will negatively impact their lives and the lives of millions of others.
We literally already fought a war about this. To attempt secession is to trigger a civil war.

@catgoat peaceful secession isn't possible. We already had a civil war about this, any attempt to split the Union would be stopped.

@catgoat he should be alarmed. You're casually mentioning civil war like its a game that wouldn't lead to the death and disruption of millions of lives.

@ilumanous @SalvajeUnitario to be clear here, I'm not saying your ideology is the same as the Nazis. I'm saying you're being radicalized just as the Nazis were. Just as Islamist extremists are. Just as the communists are.

@ilumanous @SalvajeUnitario if you think my account reflects me being a leftist, then you are just as much of a zealot as him and the Nazis too.

@SalvajeUnitario @ilumanous Nazi's were a thing before 1940. They started really gaining political power around 1931, but they existed before then.

I agree I'm not a Conservative, but I'm not a Liberal either. That's the thing, its not all black-or-white. There are tons of people in the middle who aren't zealots.

There's no room in the middle for nuance anymore, and it's going to needlessly tear our country apart. Because of people like you.

@SalvajeUnitario @ilumanous your mentality is like that of the Nazis in 1930 or the communists in 1950. Seeing your political enemies as subhuman is a direct precursor to war.

I am not a leftist, and any nuanced political discussion with me about immigration, taxes, and the 2nd amendment should make this apparent.

I exercise my 2nd amendment rights, as do many of your apparent "enemies" who are actually on your side in most ways. Keep that in mind in the coming weeks.

@SalvajeUnitario @ilumanous your comment is retarded. Calling anyone that disagrees with you politically a leftist is a perfect example of the us-vs-them mentality that got us into this mess in the first place.

@kbrendell "Those rioters in Lafayette Square were warned to move back and they did not."

There were a hundred cameras on site that day. Show me a single "rioter" at the time of the flashbangs, and I will eat my shoe.

Good to know that if someone wants to trample on your rights, all they have to do is warn you first.

@kbrendell @SeenTheLight @ilumanous that would require an amendment to the constitution, which would never get passed. It's partisan posturing.

That's what politics is. Negotiations, posturing, and mostly doing nothing. Not flashbanging hundreds of protesters and still doing nothing.

@SeenTheLight @ilumanous I consider our constitutional rights sacrosanct. Any president that shits on those rights for a photo op will never get my vote, just as Clinton didn't get mine in 2016 because she rigged the primaries.

@mnw I did years ago. There are a ton of them on YouTube, I recommend watching all that you can.

Look up counter-steering. I also recommend learning with a lightweight motorcycle.

@benborges judging historical figures based on the culture norms of today is really dumb and counterproductive.

@RPL that's because if most people had been told early on that we'll need to be partially locked down for at least a year in a half or more, people would have FREAKED the fuck out.

Things won't really open until a good vaccine is made _and distributed_. That won't be until next year.

@junctionette I don't really think so. Covid binds to ACE-2 receptors in your lungs. When you exercise, the volume of air exchanged increases A LOT and the velocity of the air going through your mouth (and any mask in front of it) increases a ton too. That means that viruses could be expelled and inhaled much much easier. When combined with the sweat and touching of gym equipment, it's just not a good idea.
