@eMarie I love the finish. Bet it's got a pretty nice magazine capacity, too. :P
@lucifargundam You get it yet?
@freemo #2021
Done drinking. Not because of it's effects on my behavour, but because it's bad for my body. It's literally toxic. It shouldn't even be legal if there are non toxic drugs like benzos that pretty much have the same effects. And like all drugs, it's a crutch. I'm not gunna tell anyone what to do with their body, I'm just saying I think I'll be happier without it. Happy 2021, everyone.
@eMarie
What model is that staple gun?
@freemo No worries. I appreciate the offer. Will look into returning it. Have you done any handloading?
@freemo Oregon Coast. Just south of Coos Bay. Might have to use some of that stimulus check to buy another. Not sure it's worth the time and headache of trying to return it. Got it on amazon. Not the first time I've gotten a bad apple, but it was by far the most expensive.
My chronograph crapped out on me so I haven't got to chrono anything yet, but I think I'm gunna shoot for 600 ish fps with the slugs and 900 fps with the Flashpup. Anyone got a chrono I can borrow?
Some photos from when I got caught in the middle of a buffalo stampede in Yellowstone National Park. I was being kind of stupid and had time to run off before they got to me like everyone else but I was more focused on taking pictures than my life, which in retrospect was kinda stupid. The stampede ran around me and I didnt get hurt, partly due tot he fact that there were only a dozen or so of them. I got luck.
But hey, I didn't die, and I got some **AMAZING** photos, so I will take it as a win.

@freemo A long time ago, I'd be offended in your position. Now, I understand and accept that a large percentage of human beings are illogical and have mental disorders. Don't waste time trying to logic someone out of something they didn't logic themselves into.
Please know your philosophical razors if you dont already!
(taken from wikipedia):
* Occam's razor: Simpler explanations are more likely to be correct; avoid unnecessary or improbable assumptions.
* Hanlon's razor: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.
* Hitchens's razor: "What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence."
* Hume's guillotine: What ought to be cannot be deduced from what is. "If the cause, assigned for any effect, be not sufficient to produce it, we must either reject that cause, or add to it such qualities as will give it a just proportion to the effect."
* Newton's flaming laser sword: If something cannot be settled by experiment or observation, then it is not worthy of debate.
* Sagan standard: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
* Popper's falsifiability principle: For a theory to be considered scientific, it must be falsifiable.
* Grice's razor: As a principle of parsimony[disambiguation needed], conversational implications are to be preferred over semantic context for linguistic explanations.
I just want you all to know that I think you're awesome in your own unique ways. The world is full of garbage, hate, and spam. Logic does not guide humanity. Yet, I feel that quite a few of us contribute to the world, logically. It might all be futile in the long run. We may be destined to fail. Nevertheless, I appreciate the positivity, the knowledge, and the artistic expression shared here. Hope you all enjoy the holidays. Really wish you all the best. Never forget how awesome you are.
just doing the thing. I like camping, shooting, driving... Stuff like that.
