@piggo with the regular #breadposting inspired me to start irregular #cakeposting instead. Let’s see what mileage I get.

Let ‘em laugh while they can
Let ‘em spin, let ‘em scatter in the wind
I have been to the movies, I’ve seen how it ends
And the joke’s on them– Brandi Carlile: Joke
This one’s for the lonely, the one’s that seek and find
Only to be let down time after time
This one’s for the torn down, the experts at the fall
Come on friends, get up now, you’re not alone at all
This one’s for the faithless, the ones that are surprised
They’re only where they are now regardless of their fight
This one’s for believing if only for it’s sake
Come on friends get up now love is to be made
This is for the ones who stand
For the ones who try again
For the ones who need a hand
For the ones who think they can
It comes and goes in waves, I
Am only led to wonder why
It comes in goes in waves, I
Am only led to wonder why
Why I, why I try

The mere though of sex for some people causes such severe bouts of nasal erection that they’ll have trouble breathing and will start to sneeze uncontrollably, an inconvenient condition called “honeymoon rhinitis”.

Remember those walls I built?
Baby, they were tumbling down
They didn’t even put up a fight
They didn’t even make up a sound– Ane Brun: Halo

I would like to get a device which would act as a Bluetooth hub. I want to connect multiple audio sources to it (phone, tablet, laptop) and also multiple speakers (a bunch of low cost Bluetooth speakers at home). I want the thing to handle just one stream at a time. So ideally, whatever is played on the source side (just a “merge” of all the source signals) should be broadcasted to all the speakers. The motivation is to stop playing a discotheque with my little soundbars/speakers and audio sources. It’s a bit annoying, so I guess we can do better…
The thing is, I cannot find any device like that. Apparently Bluetooth transceivers act exclusively either in RX xor TX mode, but never simultaneously. I do not care for reasons why that is the case (protocol, single chip, whatever), I would like to get pointers to technology which could do this for me.
Does such a thing even exist? And if yes, how’s it called?
Thanks for any constructive advice.

Exploring, failing, backtracking, just to identify the only viable path forward. And then scarred, stumbling forward into the future. Learning.
Boring and steady. Knowing little and questioning a lot. Mostly harmless.

This is an experimental scrapbook space. A collection of stuff I want to keep in a form somewhere on the spectrum between a blog and a shoe-box full of scraps, cut-outs, quotes, links and reading notes and sometimes my own silly thoughts about them.
Perhaps it might be of marginal interest to others too, but I don't care that much.
