Yet he's a Catholic: a religion headed by *checks notes* a childless Pope, and run by *checks notes again* thousands of childless priests. (Well, supposedly.)
And wait, news has just come in that Jesus, the man whose teachings Catholics claim to follow, was yet another man who (according to their own orthodoxy) had no children.
Childless people have no stake in the future.

@SNerd I think he’s done this time though. In fact I think if he won he would be unlikely to live out his term, which would leave the even more frightening prospect of Vance becoming President.

I'm sitting here astounded that my husband is hacking away with Covid and I'm sitting here feeling just fine. I went shopping. I wore a mask and got looks. The Covid wastewater rates are twice the national average here in MA, and yet I get weird looks for protecting everyone in Stop n Shop by wearing a freaking mask. People are so weird. Kind of like Trump-*WEIRD*.

@argv_minus_one Inagree that’s likely his intent, but it’s remarkably stupid for someone whose entire income is based on a well-funded government and people taking climate change seriously.
