@Joel I have I think 5 of them, and several Utilikilts (much better quality, but I got fat) and wear them every day. In the summer they are a godsend of cool.

@toxtethogrady @georgetakei , I think the reason for the delays are that they want to avoid any charges, and are dragging it out until they can say "he can't be charged while a candidate/in office."

@georgetakei , every new bit of news adds 6 months to confirm. And in that 6 months, there will be something else to investigate.

Checker at Kroger asked me about my "skirt". I informed her it is a kilt, and made by Damn Near Kilt 'em. then I offered to teach her the difference so she wouldn't offend anyone, which she accepted.

If you don't know, the difference is what is underneath, underwear or confidence. And to be polite, you NEVER ask, just check for yourself.

@SNerd @BlackAzizAnansi , agreed. There is no left party in America. The closest is the small number of progressives in the Dem party, or the Libertarian party before 2015. Maybe the Greens...

@BlackAzizAnansi , the old saying is that "if you are not liberal when you are young, you have no heart, and if you are not conservative when you are old, you have no brain." The young are often on the left, historically. I think the change we are seeing is that fewer middle aged people are becoming republicans, and instead are becoming independent.

@AlliFlowers , those uprisings had one in 50 armed. Maybe.

@yurnidiot , he isn't a stupid guy, and he is a fair engineer. And he knows how to hire better engineers. Just a shitty person. He may be able to make robots... but I think Google or Boston Dynamics (Hyundai) will beat him there.

@AlliFlowers I posted some holocaust survivors comparing 1930 Germany with the USA today a week or so ago. I think your hope is admirable, but unrealistic. We need Stonewall (1969) and Watts (1965, and 1992) to foster change.

@AlliFlowers , sounds good in theory, to stay on the moral high ground. I think in practice, the victor will write the history books, and the goal is to win.

@yurnidiot , he makes great cars, and space ships. I think that is about the limit of his abilities, and humanoid robots are way out of his league.
