@JohnShirley2023 @sbdivya , I am 60 now, and do not regret a single virtue I took a principled stance on, from my earliest days to now. Even those stances where I have changed position.

@Talia_christine , and fun. It's a business called "Panting with a Twist" in Lexington KY. this was a couples night, although many just did single panels. They walk you through the process step by step until you end up with that. And naturally, you can modify what you wish, and they give you help ideas. I had to add a Tardis... Everyone else had a moon there.

I'm curious, if a 12 year old gets a driver's licence in Kansas (or wherever they have an age that low) could they legally drive anywhere in the USA? How about a resident of a state that doesn't have a minimum age for a scooter, can they drive a scooter anywhere in the US?

@bmerer @JeriLRyan , she is amazing. I didn't like her at first, because she was basically the hot woman in spandex, and those characters annoy me. Then she did a couple episodes when she just shined: "Body and Soul" where she becomes the Doctor, and my favorite, "The Voyager Conspiracy" where she delivers these long speeches laying out conspiracy theories with flawless delivery. Now in "Picard" she is just incredible.

Before that I got suggestions for painting with a twist, tardis exploding, letter from twittler's lawyer, twitch, and a few others. OK. But, first thread is a guy running for office from a state who had their gun laws written by the NRA and signed into law by a republican, saying he wants to protect the 2nd amendment by adding the 28th... No text of the 28th, just a video I was uninterested in watching, and one of the top posts this bit of cold hard fact:

@DrPsyBuffy , I have only been here since last October, when the 1st wave left the bird app. Yes, there are bad actors here. I have found the occasional white supremist group with their own servers supporting that. What I find far less of is people demanding that they know how hateful you are, and jumping to insults. It is really strange these days to see that happen. A couple weeks ago it did happen. I mentioned in a random thread why I would not / did not vote for Hillary and was verbally assaulted. It was just like the old Twitter days. But what is daily there is monthly here.
