@leadore Probably. Maybe I should do that. Thanks for the advice!
Either way, I want to set up a backup anyway.
@leadore I had something like that happen to me last time I did NaNo as well. It was much worse though.
@leadore I use git and push my changes to GitLab daily. I think it was when I switched my operating system when I lost it, but I copied all files over to my external hard drive first. It is just confusing.
@leadore It is not as bad as I thought at first (I thought I lost 1400 at first). But it is still painful. I was behind anyway.
@leadore I don't know what happened. I had a recent backup and I used git, and I thought I committed the changes and pushed them online, but apparently not.. :(
@leadore A lot better than me. I just lost a few hundred words.
@AskChip@mastodon.technology @djsumdog @SallyStrange I agree to an extent.
@zath Good evening!
@wtwagg What kind of music do you like?
Some of the artists I like are:
Newsboys
Chris Tomlin
Third Day
Skillet (sometimes)
Many other Christian bands
@wtwagg That is cool. I am in my teens so I was not born yet in the late 80s/early 90s.
@wtwagg Sorry. I don't. xD You are right.
@innovation Truth.
@khird Yeah. I will check that out. I tried that, but I think I did that wrong. Thanks for your help!
@khird Yeah. I have been discovering that more and more. I got KDE Plasma to do it well. But Gnome's settings for it really stink. 100% or 200% is a big difference.
I am a follower of #Jesus #Christ.
Get out of here racists, white supremacists, and every other advocate of evil. Jesus taught us to love one another, not wish them dead!
I accept most followers, so don't be afraid to request to follow. :-)
