Not going to lie, Twitter killing off free API access hits me in the feels. I remember with great affection the flood of creativity that happened after we opened up the API, and it's sad to see that unceremoniously strangled.

I'm relieved that we've got better alternatives, though. While this is perhaps the final straw for many bots on Twitter, it's been a long time coming and the API has long been hobbled compared to the early days. Open protocols or bust. ✊

World Cancer Day on my calendar #today. In memory of my Dad, I like to remind men not to put off screenings if they are available to you. We love you, and need you around guys.

NJ Senator Cory Booker spoke at Shabbat services at my brother's synagogue tonight, a few nights after someone tried to set fire to the building with a Molotov cocktail.

@ghostdansing Saw this in a movie theater with my parents when I was a kid. My father thought those big bombers were the coolest. Those B-36s were so huge they called them "aluminum overcast."

The B-36 is the largest mass-produced piston-engined aircraft ever built. It had the longest wingspan of any combat aircraft ever built, at 230 ft (70 m).
