Andrew Peters, a veteran of the U.S. Army from Marshfield, Wisconsin, was tragically killed in Ukraine on February 16, according to CNN. Peters had served in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan in 2014, and had joined the International Legion for the Defense of Ukraine in late November 2022.

Blue Jay

This photo is slightly out of focus. The bird flew off as I was trying to photograph it and I just managed to capture its image in the bottom left corner of the frame.

Even out of focus, it's a pretty photo of a blue jay in flight.
