We're learning these days which media can be trusted, like the Philadelphia Enquirer and Rolling Stone, because they are standing for a candidate.

We're also learning which media is so full of bullshit they need to die quickly, like the LA Times and the Washington Post.

It's intense to feel so much betrayal, but I am finding it helpful. You remember that old saying? The one that goes 'You learn who your friends are when there's trouble around.'

When I was 15 years old, I wrote a novel, The Lions Den, about a war between the Soviet Union and the US. It involved nukes, destruction and death.

I never suspected that at the age of 65, I'd witness the destruction of the US by Russia at the hands of billionaires and media conglomerates.

But here we are.
