I just had a desktop system crap out on me. Hard fail -- no video or anything, just motherboard beep codes. With the cyberwar ongoing, I had the same thought...
It turned out to be a drained button battery on the motherboard (which I hadn't changed in years). Easy fix. Paranoia resolved.
@Pat @trinsec
It's not a Russian keyboard, it's an International keyboard made in Russia.
I bought it because it's flexible, very thin, and can be folded. And, quoting from the box, it is "virtually indestructible"... Perhaps it is a metaphor?
Can't change the batteries because... it does not have any - it's a USB keyboard.
Anyway, my rant today is because the electricity is falling (since yesterday). I'm writing this from my laptop, surrounded by darkness...
@Pat So you're basically saying that @mc should put a new battery in their keyboard? ;)
