Energy saving tip number 10

Invent the next breakthrough in energy…

Changing our behaviors to conserve energy can help with the immediate needs of this particular energy crisis, but a major breakthrough in energy could end oil wars permanently.

Consider working in STEM fields that work to develop new energy sources. If you work for the petro-fuels industry, consider switching careers to new energy. The industry is dying and you don’t want to get stuck with an obsolete resume.

Be aware that the petro industry aggressively works to sabotage the new energy industry, including infiltration of research projects and setting up trojan companies that work to undermine development of new sources of energy by sucking resources from legitimate R&D. For example, companies that say they are developing hydrogen fuels for transportation are very often working on behalf of the oil industry.

But there are many areas of legimate research. Areas of active research and development include...

- Commercial fusion energy
- Low-temperature superconductors
- Improved solar cell efficiency
- Grid energy storage technologies
- Improved electric batteries
- New generation fission reactors that are safer and more sustainable
- Efficient heat engines, waste heat recovery, and other efficiency improvements
- Electric vehicles

SABOTAGE IS A GOOD WORD - Cold Mentality - Restricting true humanitarian progress...

To invent now is to give weapons to others so maybe don't invent so quick after seeing what people do with everything new before.
Not exactly to save the world.

To give or sell endlessly to people the crud tech? I think it's the latter with disposable batteries or upgrading to next tech faaar behind what they have (say in submarine batteries or the power they have to give life for free but make everyone pay much more- sorry Tesla - he didn't want to make a big business out of it).

To have people stay or save effort and time that much, buy less - that is crazy talk. How much we could free our time - but they don't want that

Obvious instinct is "NEW" hooray. but history dictates those they have power and control = business (making more power and control). And that is problem giving them more power and control with ANYTHING NEW.

IF YOU'RE AN INVENTOR READING THIS this don't let cat out of bag please- it won't be in your hands after - the human mentality is not ready to solve things in right ways.

Reassess honestly those sentences by seeing how all those industries are already off their rocker...
I think I liked one or two sentences but just working on human psyche and human people will solve everything but indirectly (the future generation who say no to stuff a lot more).

Now is the time of calculating properly the way people's mind work not just tech that seems innate or benine. Oh not even open source nice stuff is weaponising as we see and supplying another nice free source.

Consider we are ill slightly without calling everyone ill - just over time we realise what every single industry has done and it done. Don't 'fuel' that.

Best is using less and thinking more about these human types of things and across the board helping people get over the trauma and damage and improve feelings and comms.

If you see how exist system works and profits that go towards wrong things then anything new just makes less sense and becomes worse in their hands.

Trying hard not to sound wildly opposite but perfectly calmly, no- doesn't work with those people now and even engineers are blind at human factor. Just wanna build build!
...oops not we have to solve that empire and all the machines we built for it... Those minds are persistent and cut throat.

Hard to say "do less" and sort the people out- and it's not paid (for a reason) and not always fun (I think it is as we got nothing else but each other) and nobody has been doing this work for decades and even hundred of years (our parents being any example which to be honest they tried their best but were ignoring a whole lot too in the booms of industry at a big cost that we now have to feel guilty about and just learn to live with less)

Mindsets who weaponise everything - bad. Just have to wait for those people to die out because WE HAD SHITLOADS OF INVENTIONS and basically it's not for humanitarian giving it for selling and getting more tax (even charity as a way of conditioning and re-culturing - yeah give them all Amercanised-laptop hoorah!

Sad truth may seem distant to you, but some will be nodding their heads like THAT IS IT - WE ARE IN A FUCKING PICKLE MY FRIEND. DON'T TRY THINK LOGICALLY FOR SOLUTIONS OTHER THAN HUMAN READJUSTMENT OF LOGIC aas the hands now only have the logic which illogical to us and many with just say "I don't believe they did it again".

People are innocent and think they are paying for hospitals only - One big swindle - taking from pot to military etc as massive bujects.
And even weaponising being broke by saying the don't have enough money left over for hospitals or all the nice stuff, open centres, day cay, elderly stuff... oh no money for that sorry... risking it crumbling to enforce some other crazy idea.

They have the money.
They have the tech
A couple of those submarine batteries would charge what seems like the world

...but it's simply regulated not to.

I wrote about this before a while back (the writing should have some points even if slightly different context).

I feel it's easy to sell new, but with old mindset, matrix methodology it's lost and basically keeping it primitive for now avoids what industries exploit and think they can scale up (scale up doesn't exist without massive chunks of pollution and earth and other people's land manufacturing etc), all prostituted to the level of not solving it AND IN FACT MAKING IT WORSE AS A LOSS MAKER OF OUR WORLD!.

If you don't believe that, then do make it clear - people DON'T HAVE THE WILL + DO HAVE THE TECH (or enough) + DON'T CARE ABOUT HUMANS SO MUCH + DON'T WANT TO SHARE OR SOLVE

We just get the shit stuff to buy again.

Thanks @Pat - next idea please.

Perhaps bicycle powered low voltage at best to keep going.

@holl

Thanks for the correction. I was going to write "room-temperature superconductors", but I changed it at the last minute thinking that I wanted to include those colder than room temperature (that actually exist today), but I guess my mind couldn't seem to write "high-temperature" when I was thinking lower temperature.
