1. My costume was appreciated (although a surprising number of people thought is was some kind of William Tell reference).
2. The well-deployed smoke machine at the entrance to the Manor House -- I couldn't see the door when I walked into the fog!

Same here. I guess gravity is a difficult concept to get across in any context, let alone in a Halloween costume.
