Finally got myself a , the Ender 3 v2

Build quality feels good, took me roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes to build, then took me like another 20 minutes to level the bed(as i also replaced the springs), and after a movie break, 10 minutes to start printing(had to find the boat model)

The print is literally the first print without any modifications to the default settings, and im kinda impressed.

Quitting gmail

You can just ghost gmail without closing your account.

1. You'll need a new email address. Maybe your ISP provides one? A friend with a domain name? Proton mail?

2. Set google to forward everything to your new address.

3. Set an autoreply saying what your new address is.

4. As it becomes relevant, unsubscribe from email lists and then resubscribe with your new address.

5. Move your accounts to also use your new address. Go at whatever pace works for you.

@Wraptile @JonYoder 3/ "Not fit for" != "never used for". Returning to the #C example, I think C is not fit for modern development, now that we have #Rust. That doesn't mean it's impossible to use C, or that nobody does; just that, from a purely technical view, having to manage memory manually and deal with all the other numerous pitfalls of C isn't worth it TODAY. Nobody's going to rewrite Apache in Rust tomorrow, but if somebody were starting a new web server tomorrow, C shouldn't be chosen.

Interesting, Brave Search reads your browser history when using Firefox.

Test:

Step 1) clear cache, history and cookies

Step 2) Search "nitter"
You should see results for niter

Step 3) close all tabs, in current tab go to nitter.net

Step 4) open new tab and search nitter again, first result will be nitter.net

Managed to finally fix it!

So apparently the arch installation of comes with a "multilang-error" config file, which redefines all the possible error codes and is INCLUDED BY DEFAULT!

Abyway, removing it(commenting the include line) made my file to take effect so now my website has an actual 404 error page

Just watched the live action sonic movie, and i gotta say im a bit impressed.

First of all, it was a good movie imo
Second, they really knew their limitations(by reducing the amount of interactions of people with sonic, which works great for their advantage)
And third, i first saw sonic in a tv show before i saw both sonic and mario in video games, so i always had more connection to sonic, and while mario games are better, sonic always felt related(as a character from a show i liked as a kid) which made its games more appealing(consider how mario doesnt exists, at least as far as i know, outside of the games), so i guess i prefer the sonic franchise better beacuase i dont really care about both's games?

Also robotnic was amazing!

----- maybe spoilers ahead but not really -----

Also that ending(fight in the end and ending scenes), really completed the movie for me

question I asked @Pixificial and thought of sharing here:
What is the "correct" approach (or mindset) that should come when players find a weird/exploitable/gamebreaking bug(or unintended consequence of a system), or something the devs don't want you to do?

For example:

- In the witcher 3, players found that they can just farm the cows in the starting zone to get infinite cash.

- In titanfall 2 multiplayer, if you try to go out of bounds it will count down and kill you if you don't go back in bounds after ~5 seconds.

Just a disclaimer, this is solely a game design question for the sake of thought experiments.
Also i know this question is a bit vague and can have different answers depends on the game in mind, but just bear with me and say what you think

I hate the devaluation of the word "community" by corporations, non-movements and money grabbers. It doesn't inherently mean a strong bond and care in between participating peers anymore. What are some alternatives?
Rusty boosted

Dont know why, but my apache server does not want to use the error 404 html file im giving it, or the link to that file, or even a normal error string...

Hey @Pixificial @potatoxel @Pixificial I AM ON MASTODON(i got too lazy to set up my own instance)

Rusty boosted

Welp, I will do a about myself… I am a cs student who likes to code in Rust(tho i barely code outside of uni and work lately), I made a 2d physics lib for bevy.

(here is a video of rays looking cool)

Just joined mastodon, wassup? Any cool stuff i should set up/configure?
