@tapiomaatta Tästä juuri on tullut keskusteltua kollegoiden kanssa paljonkin ja juuri itse palattuani maasta, jossa samanlaisia virheitä ehdittiin tehdä ja nyt painetaan hommia niiden korjaamiseksi. Suomella vain ei ole "helppoja" naapureita mistä imuroida korjausta tilanteeseen, vaan meidän pitää oikesti tarjota jotain kilpailukykyistä.

ngl the "jUsT AskINg QuEsTiONs" has to be the most jading bad faith tactics I see all the time.
Hence I will not interact with any such crap, unless paid upfront for wasting my time. Even then one probably shouldn't, as there's nothing one can say to remedy that crap.

@nomi I would say killing is far over the top as this is more akin to ship of Theseus and history is precisely what makes one one, so it's far from "just" shared.

On the other hand this precisely why I love indie and fan content. You can make purely whatever makes you happy, and there's a good chance you're not alone with that.

Even if nobody were outright killed in the filtration camps they are directly in service of russia's russification attempts of ukraine, which is ethnic cleansing (E.g by taking their children away to be raised as russians at russia) for all intents and purposes. This just on top everything else russia is doing of course.

Rigorous truth is vital to democracy. It's not just about science, it's about respect and rights not stopping with the unfamiliar.
Fully agree. I've been thinking this a lot lately, and I've believe this is partly a reason why it's personally harder to slip into nihilism or some kind of nonsense, if you're grounded in reality one way or another. Though not always very convenient, genuine and constructive red teaming is invaluable even in one's thinking and worldview let alone everything else. And without philosophy we'd be just chimps who somehow figured out how to make nuclear weapons.

Full realist. Even though it's easy to see ideal goals and state, getting there is where realism immediately and inescapably kicks in.
Though, now that you said that some of the most blatant and fundamental misunderstandings of my worldview has come from idealists I've been close with.

ESO's Very Large Telescope got sharper infrared eyes! The new ERIS instrument just finished its test observations.
ERIS combines the capabilities of two previous instruments, NACO & SINFONI. All 3 use(d) adaptive optics to correct for the blurring of Earth's atmosphere. But ERIS's new adaptive optics module, working together with the VLT's adaptive optics facility, deliver sharper observations and with better sensitivity

I've had my fair share of internet scuffles of various kinds over the years, I'll just say this based on that experience and then stay on the sidelines.
You should focus on transmitting QOTOs message and stance more than attacking anyone. (E.g What happened, QOTO's stance and how it'll go forward. not who did what to whom) It's what matters more in the long run especially, if the said parties are not going to engage you anyway. This puts the focus on the right things, such as what QOTO stands for in reality and why people have chosen to stay. Making this personal won't gain you anything no matter how right it may feel and will feed your opposition with whatever ammunition they want to make of it. You have no control of their message, so focus on yours free of hostility. @skobkin has a point in that regard. The only way for you to show you're in the right, is to speak and act in such a way.
