@avoidthehack Ohhhh that's great that she's moved over to more secure form of instant messaging. I want to move over but the one thing stopping me is my gf she's currently the only person I use WhatsApp to speak to and she's stubborn on switching... she says she doesn't like the way signal & matrix are she says it feels secretive like we (or myself) are hiding something💀😂 .

@undefined @marathon0 So far mastodon seems peaceful, and I understand that completely avoiding negativity is impossible you're right about that but it seems less like an echo chamber of toxicity over here in comparison to twitter. :)

@ianonymous3000 Ah so it's top 15, strange I assumed it was definitely top 10 based on how it's ranked as the happiest country. Also thought it would be higher due to the great education & healthcare systems

First time using Mastodon it seems promising, I'm glad that there's alternate forms of social media away from negativity, corporations & drama. Hopefully this remains a safe space :)
