My local dps school is only a few miles from Columbine High. Yet #DPS is banning armed security. Will this makes students safer?
From the actual board resolution : " ensuring that we do not replace school resource officers with or staff our schools with the consistent presence of security armed with guns or any other law enforcement personnel."
Systemic racism is defined therein as black and Hispanic students being ticketed or arrested.

#Denver school board votes unanimously to pull police out of schools, citing "systemic racism"
The Denver school board voted unanimously this week to remove police officers from all public schools by this time next year to "fulfill its responsibility for undoing the systemic racism that Black children and children of color face."

Interesting that even the pro-mandate spokespeople understand this is unconstitutional. Kyle here advises that we should be like Rosa Parks and only write a letter to the government or file a lawsuit. Just like Parks did.
The rule here is that not only are Denver citizens banned from buying food without a mask, the stores are obligated to forcibly remove anyone who takes off their mask.
Commentary: Mad about Denver's mask order? Fine. You're not Rosa Parks.
Denver's new mask mandate will begin May 6th without a proposed end date. It mandates masks in places like stores and public transit. There's a problematic detail.
Now wait a minute... "The new figure now includes people who tested positive for COVID-19 and those who have symptoms and were in close contact with someone who tested positive."
So now in #Colorado we're including people as positive who haven't tested at positive. Anyone with flu symptoms who was on contact with someone with the #coronavirus is now included in this stat. Is everyone doing this? Or is there some need in Colorado to inflate the numbers?
Current panic level in my part of #Colorado : One employee has a cold. Several employees pack up all of their belongings, clear their desks and flee the office.
First Colorado primary (we were Caucus state until now), in a state with early mail in ballots for all registered voters, first time with an open primary as well. What could go wrong? How about : your vote doesn't count depending on just how the candidate technically suspended their campaign.

I just got a republican AND a democrat primary ballot in the mail.
4 years ago I left party affiliation behind. I was done. The same year the Colorado electorate voted to an open primary instead of being a caucus state. So while I declared I wanted nothing to do with either, I now get to vote for who they have as their candidate. I have more influence than Republicans or Democrats because I can choose whose primary to influence. Trump is obviously going to win the Republican primary, so it only makes sense to vote in the Democrat primary.
I think the open primary arrangement is a bad idea. Why should I, unaffiliated, have more influence that those who affiliate?
These Californians know they're buying out Colorado's electoral power.

Seems like it's really more about removing parental rights and giving them to the state alone. All your kids are belong to us.
Today "Sixteen-year-olds need a parent OR a judge to sign off on the union... Under Hansen’s proposed bill, marriage would be banned for anyone 15 years or younger. Sixteen- and 17-year-olds would need the approval of a judge.
Hansen says that is because he has heard parents of 16-year-olds are the ones signing off on marriage and it has looked suspicious to some county clerks."
I'm interested in being just not civil, but excellent in interacting with others of different viewpoints in an online world where we can so viciously defend our echo chambers and be so dismissive of other perspectives.
