I'm interested in being just not civil, but excellent in interacting with others of different viewpoints in an online world where we can so viciously defend our echo chambers and be so dismissive of other perspectives.
Because this is less and less possible here, I'm largely offline and am not sure if I'll be returning. It was fun back when civility was a trend on qoto.

I haven't checked the news in a few days... Seems it's been eventful. I'm summary... There was an attack on a US embassy in Iraq, Trump branded it the anti-Benghazi and sent in support, no one died, then over the next few days authorized drone or other attacks to kill military leaders of Iran who were not in Iran, but were in Iraq, maybe in connection with this embassy attack. Is that right?
I'm guessing the perpetually exploding talking heads have been exploding, and those who have called every Trump breath a constitutional crisis call this one, and on the other side Trump is hailed as the most heroic hero to every heroically be heroic?

In the book When, The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing, author Daniel Pink recommends embracing and building upon the psychological waves of time we are on, such as the feeling of a starting point every new year (and new month and new week, etc.)
So recommendation : embrace January 1 as a fresh start, start implement a new system of action in the right direction. Then do it again on Sunday or Monday as you start the new week.
