I'm interested in being just not civil, but excellent in interacting with others of different viewpoints in an online world where we can so viciously defend our echo chambers and be so dismissive of other perspectives.
Because this is less and less possible here, I'm largely offline and am not sure if I'll be returning. It was fun back when civility was a trend on qoto.

They had a little less than $9 million yesterday. That means they need ~$2.25 million - $4.5 million per year.
So #Trudeau is using the power of the governed to... stand against minority groups whose beliefs that he as prime minister declares unacceptable. But he's only Othering minority groups (as fringe) who together speak to those in power that their overreach is harming the minority group.
"The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa who are holding unacceptable views... "
I have been mulling this over. Let's raise the stakes.
If Spotify doesn't remove people I neither listen to know know about, they can remove everything of mine from their platform and I'll close my account. Time to stake a stand.

Apparently an abandoned coal mine in that area is burning underground. It apparently sparked a small fire in 2005 as well. Still being investigated.

In 2021 I ran my first marathon exactly seven months after breaking my leg. The last five miles were very painful. I'd hate to be in that situation again...
So I'm leaning in. I've registered for my second marathon, four months from now, just finished the first week of training.

There's really no health incentive for someone healthy like me to get vaxxed, especially as the #Coronavirus gets less and less deadly.
I have the antibodies so I must have had it before. I didn't notice though, I wasn't sick. If you catch #COVID there's a high chance I won't get any symptoms, yet if I get vaxxed I now know for a fact I will get sicker than if I caught #COVID!
What's the point? We all know that getting vaccinated doesn't keep you from catching or spreading #COVID anyways.
