I'm interested in being just not civil, but excellent in interacting with others of different viewpoints in an online world where we can so viciously defend our echo chambers and be so dismissive of other perspectives.
Because this is less and less possible here, I'm largely offline and am not sure if I'll be returning. It was fun back when civility was a trend on qoto.

When I first saw the posts about #charlieKirk saying "live by the sword, die by the sword," I thought they were comments saying the shooter should be shot: shoot people and get shot.
But I was wrong. They mean: he talked, challenging prescribed ideas so he should be assassinated.
People inhabit entirely different narrative realities from each other.
Today is a very sad day. While the breaking national news was about today's political assassination there was local breaking news about another school shooting near me here in Colorado with multiple students rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
