How do we make ironic articles about the loss of privacy on websites that use spy trackers a thing of the past?
The duality of tech journals / online magazines / bloggers that advocate for #privacy yet are using #google #analytics, pervasive ad tracking (offline and online), etc. on their websites is an issue that may demand our attention.
What might help?
+ A code of conduct?
+ More vocal online protest?
+ Sharable “I won’t read your post because...” graphics?
Any ideas are welcome...

The Dutch ministry of justice paid for a #privacy test of Office 365, finding a series of issues. Just one of these: 6 different companies receive user data including file names, without even a privacy policy.

with HURD:
- every program can present its API as a filesystem
- you even get automount points, where a "filesystem translator" gets automatically started once you try to access its mountpoint
- you can easily implement per-process namespaces
- as well as all other kinds of namespaces
- without being a privileged user
- without refactoring an existing kernel and adding CVEs (looking at you, Linux)
