The bigger issue as i see it is that good morals are those which reduce suffering. To know if a moral is effective at reducing suffering you must have accurate facts as to the outcome of your actions. In other words, to be moral you must have accurate facts.
The reverse however isnt true, whether a fact is effective as a fact or not has nothing at all to do with morality.
