@freemo In an Ideal world, sure. That's what we'd all want to be.

The thing is, that morals are often questionable and shadowy. Facts, at least, are facts regardless of how you feel about them or believe.

@Surasanji True, but one being subjective and the other objective doesnt really tell us much as to which one is more useful or beneficial.

The bigger issue as i see it is that good morals are those which reduce suffering. To know if a moral is effective at reducing suffering you must have accurate facts as to the outcome of your actions. In other words, to be moral you must have accurate facts.

The reverse however isnt true, whether a fact is effective as a fact or not has nothing at all to do with morality.
