@pathw@TheOldGuy hmm.. I don't see where it mentions any of that. It looks to be just defining "common law marriage" as being between a man and a woman. Also limits legal action that can be taken against clerks.
Yeah they took heat about equal to the tail of a rocket. And ended up rewriting it. Originally it did away with age limits for marriage so you could marry a 10 year old if she said yes.
@TheOldGuy @pathw interesting. I see many media reports to that effect, but the oldest available version States "age of majority" which is 18.
