On the 8th of May, the world commemorates the deadliest conflict of the last century—the Second World War. Ukraine is grateful to all nations that fought against Nazism. The world was united, and that is why free and democratic Europe won. Today, Ukraine declares: never again. Such a tragedy must never be repeated. Every country must protect future generations from the horrors of war.

Destroyed Russian equipment by both HIMARS projectiles and guided aerial bombs. Among Russian losses are a Krasukha-4 REB complex. 2 BUK-M3 air defense systems, an infantry base and a BM-21 "Grad" MLRS.

That storm is about to hit. I will be inside and no cell signal. Gonna say goodnight now.

The storm was not bad here. Sure hit hard 40 miles east of here in Cabool where they had baseball to softball sized hail. They sounded the tornado sirens because they wanted people to stay inside. Softball sized hail can kill. I was reading a book off the Internet and it got so weak it took 3-4 minutes to load a page. These pages are the equivalent of about 10 pages. Monday night was a worse storm. Jimmy Carter. A lifetime of service. A hero.

Some 50,000 fake accounts were uncovered in Germany last year, and many of them were found spreading Russian fabrications about the war in Ukraine. And here is one of the most awful lies exposed by Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation.

The russian assault with motorcycles near the village of Novomykhailivka did not end well.

It should be noted that everyone is trying to adapt to the new realities of war and therefore make a fortress out of a tank or use the speed of motorcycles and quad bikes to escape from FPV drones. No mass successful solution from drones has yet been found.

CBI Arrests 4 People for Scamming other Nationals from India into Joining the Russian Army

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made significant strides in dismantling a human trafficking network with the arrest of four individuals allegedly involved in trafficking Indian nationals for combat roles in the Russian Army.

On Tuesday, the CBI apprehended two suspects, identified as Arun and Yesudas Junior, both residents of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This arrest follows an earlier operation on April 24, where two additional suspects, Nijil Jobi Bensam and Anthony Michael Elangovan, were detained in connection with the case.

Victims were lured with high-paying jobs only to be made to fight for Russia.

- My family and I lived under occupation for more than a month. There was a Russian grenade launcher in our garden in Sumy region, armoured personnel carriers in the yard, Russian soldiers were walking down the streets we knew from childhood and telling us that this was their "pseudo-region", Russian planes were flying in the sky... It was at that moment, sitting in the basement, that I clearly decided: "The profession of designer can wait, I'm going to go to a military university, and that's how I ended up at the Air Defence Faculty of the Ground Forces of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force!"
When we were liberated and Ukrainian flags flew in the village, life quickly returned to its relatively normal routine. But the problem is that every day enemy missiles try to destroy these familiar places... So it is up to us, the young people, to act decisively, become good specialists and finally bring peace back to Ukraine! Do everything we can so that no one has to cower in basements to the sound of Russian guns! Moreover, the university gives us the tools and opportunities. My uncle, who is now fighting on the front line, jokes more and more often: "How long do you have to study?"

🕯️Died a hero defending Ukraine: Ukrainian double European champion weightlifter Oleksandr Pielieshenko has been killed in the war against Russia, the Ukrainian weightlifting federation announced on Monday.

Pielieshenko, 30, won European gold in 2016 and 2017, and narrowly missed out on a medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics where he came fourth in the 85kg category.

Ukraine's national weightlifting coach Victor Slobodianiuk said Pielieshenko had "died a hero defending Ukraine."

Pielieshenko joined the Ukrainian army in February 2022 at the start of the Russian invasion, noted the Ukrainian Olympic Committee.

Good morning Resisters. We have a major storm arriving today. The entire southern half of the state is level 4 risk. Can't be any worse than Monday night though. And I don't live on flat land so any tornadoes will be north of here. Tornadoes don't like mountainous terrain.

‼️ The takeoff of several Tu-95MS strategic bombers from Olenya airfield in ruzzia was recorded

If the flights are for combat, the missiles will enter the airspace of Ukraine around four in the morning local time.

Also in the evening, Russia deployed a submarine with "Kalibr" missiles into the Black Sea.

According to the head of the Strategic Communications Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, "the potential danger is taken into account and where exactly the enemy will launch missiles will become known only when this process begins."

At the same time, Pletenchuk emphasized that "all these processes are being monitored and people will have time to react to the threat of a missile attack."

In addition the Air Force informs about the threat of the use of enemy attack UAVs for the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Please do not ignore the air raid alerts!

kyivindependent.com/tusk-europ of Youngest Azovstal Defenders Killed on Front Lines. 😢🫡🇺🇦

Twenty-one-year-old Ukrainian soldier Nazarii Hryntsevych, also known under the call sign "Hrinka," was killed on the front lines, the Contact 12 special forces group of the Azov Brigade said on May 7.

Hryntsevych was one of the youngest soldiers who defended Azovstal, a steel plant that was the Ukrainian military's last stronghold in Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast, before the city became entirely occupied by Russia in May 2022, Suspilne reported.

Hryntsevych was captured by Russia and reportedly held in a prison colony in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast for over four months. He was released during a large-scale prisoner swap in September 2022, along with other 214 Ukrainian and foreign soldiers.

After his release from captivity, Hryntsevych returned to the front lines.
