Yesterday, Andriy Lukanyuk, the commander of the 80th Airmobile Battalion, was killed near Bakhmut. He was originally from the Ivano-Frankivsk region and had been serving as a company commander since 2014. He had participated in the battles for Luhansk airport, Debaltseve, Krasnohorivka, and Shyrokyne.
Serhiy Cherevaty, a spokesperson for the Eastern Military Group, reported that Bakhmut is still the center of the conflict. Over the last day, 306 attacks were launched from multiple rocket launchers, and 56 battles occurred. In the Bakhmut area alone, there were nine battles and 26 artillery strikes. According to Cherevaty, the enemy suffered 244 fatalities and 315 wounded of varying degrees during the National Telethon.

The legendary Da Vinci, Dmytro Kotsyubaylo, has passed away at the age of 27. He was a Hero of Ukraine and a platoon commander of the Right Sector Volunteer Corps. He fought in the Revolution of Dignity, Pisky, Avdiivka, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Bakhmut. He was awarded the title of Peoples Hero in 2017 and Hero of Ukraine in 2021. Dmytro Kotsyubailo, the commander of the special unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Da Vinci Wolves, Hero of Ukraine, and call sign Da Vinci, tragically passed away at the age of 27. He had been fighting for his country since he was 18, joining the military shortly after the Revolution of Dignity. When the full-scale Russian invasion began, he and his unit fought in various locations, including the Donetsk region, to protect what he referred to as his second home. He was killed in a battle near Bakhmut while defending Ukraine.
