1/21 #WhiteSupremacy is not passive; it is proactive, violent, and pathologically relentless.

I don't know who created the attached image but, in researching them, I discovered others that were not represented.

As we look more closely at a few specific events, we will keenly recognize some common threads, but I'd like to start with one that is not depicted in the image, but is really the best place to start - the #ConfederateStatesofAmerica and the American #CivilWar!

Polish President Duda has announced that Poland will be transferring the first four Mig-29 aircraft to Ukraine in the near future.

In an interview with Voice of America, retired Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hampton, one of the best pilots of the US Air Force, stated that there are enough retired American pilots willing to defend Ukraine's skies, and he even offered to go himself. He urged the governments of Ukraine and the United States to consider the possibility of such an action. He pointed out that the Soviet Union once sent its pilots to fight against the Americans in the skies over Vietnam, and now even the Russian PMC Wagner receives aircraft from the Russian Defense Ministry, piloted by retired officers who signed contracts with Prigozhin. Hampton suggested that the same could be done in reverse, and that many retired officers would be willing to take an F-16 to defend Ukraine. He believes that this interview on Voice of America is a small announcement to the Russians, and a test of the information space.

Rest in Peace

A renowned Ukrainian historian, archaeologist, and local historian, Yuriy Kovalenko, was killed while fighting for Ukraine's independence. This tragic news was reported by the press service of Shevchenko University, where Yuriy had graduated. He was 56 years old and had worked at the Hlukhiv National Reserve, taking part in numerous archaeological expeditions, including exploring the ruins of Baturyn, which had been destroyed by Moscow invaders in 1708 on the orders of Peter the Great. Yuriy was the one who discovered the location of the main church of the Hetmans capital, the Cathedral of the Life-Giving Trinity, in the northern part of the former fortress.

He was the author of more than 70 scientific articles and the head of the research department of the Hlukhiv Nature Reserve. In 2021, he had defended his dissertation and received his PhD in History. At that time, he was already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

May his memory live on forever! Heroes never die... 🕯
