WASHINGTON, April 23 (Reuters) - The United States is preparing a $1 billion military aid package for Ukraine, the first to be sourced from the yet to be signed Ukraine-Israel bill, two U.S. officials told Reuters on Tuesday.
The aid package includes vehicles, Stinger air defense munitions, additional ammunition for high-mobility artillery rocket systems, 155 millimeter artillery ammunition, TOW and Javelin anti-tank munitions and other weapons that can immediately be put to use on the battlefield, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Most of the US military aid to Ukraine from the future package is already in warehouses in Germany and Poland, writes CNN.

Officially, the US authorities did not report that the weapons for Ukraine are already in Europe, but the Pentagon said that they would send the weapons as soon as there was an order.

According to Politico, the package will be larger than the last $300 million allocated in March as an emergency measure. The publication's sources say that in addition to ammunition for artillery, missiles and anti-aircraft defense, the package will include a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, an M113 armored personnel carrier and a Humvee.

Reuters writes that the USA is preparing a $1 billion package for Ukraine.

Another Ukrainian family was returned from the temporarily occupied community of the Kherson Region.

The occupiers threatened the family that they would deprive their parents of custody and take away the 12-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl for refusing to go to so-called russian educational institutions.

The parents did everything possible to ensure that their children studied at a Ukrainian school. Therefore, they left for the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Now they are being helped to settle in a new place. Social services, doctors and psychologists work with adults and children.

I am grateful for this return to the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets. You and your team did a tremendous job so that this family was on Ukrainian soil 🇺🇦
