The SCOTUS right-wing could not possibly make it any clearer that they don't give the tiniest shit about fairness, propriety, ethics, or the reputation of the Supreme Court.
#SCOTUS will issue rulings soon on a slate of controversial topics, such as #abortion, #guns, public #corruption, & if #Trump is entitled to #immunity for life….
#JesseBarrett’s work for #FoxCorp highlights one of #ethics experts’ biggest complaints about SCOTUS: Justices are not required to #disclose spouses’ clients,so the public has no way to track who is paying #money directly to their families. In her 2021 #FinancialDisclosure, #AmyConeyBarrett even #redacted the name of her husband’s firm….
@eunews I disagree. After October 7 when Israel went into Gaza they found UNRWA linked to HAMAS. In several cases UNRWA members WERE HAMAS member and in at least one case were holding Israeli hostages.
Residents of a Yakut village were accused of having connections with “foreign agents” and “extremists” because of an open letter to Putin
Residents of Tyanya wrote the open letter because the gold mining company NordGold planned to expand mines on their territory, saying that they are cutting down forests, because of gold mining, fish are dying and the habitat of deer is shrinking.
The company responded by accusing locals being connected with “foreign agents” and “extremist resources”, calling the claims “unfounded” as the company "helps locals", and all decisions pass public hearings. The Tians deny it.
“All 164 of us residents signed the letter, because there is no other way out, we are being driven out of our native territories, the company is opening new mines, killing the environment. Our ancestral places are being “squeezed out”, this contributes to the disappearance of the traditional way of life, and is a direct path to the extinction of the people,” said one of the activists.

Another deputy who sent his son to study in Europe
United Russia deputy from Novosibirsk Alexander Tarasov sent his son to study in unfriendly France. As his wife Maria said, his son studies at the Polytechnic Institute "La Jaune et la Rouge" in Paris. The cost of education there varies from 22.500 to 36.800 euros per year.
While the party in which Tarasov is a member calls for patriotism and calls men to the front to fight NATO, the deputy’s son lives quietly in one of these countries.
Well, that's true patriotism. Perhaps you want to ask the editors of the former alumni of said institute to publish an additional report about the traditions of the Polytechnic solidarity, or even ask the institut why they believe it a great idea to shelter the offspring of enemies of democracy and criminals.

What is a vaunted "hero of ruZZia"?
Someone who whose division held more than 350 Ukrainians in a basement for a month. Ah, yes, and in conditions that remind of Nazi-concentration camps.
At the award ceremony held in the Kremlin, Putin presented the Star of the Hero of ruZZia to Senior Lieutenant Chalym Chuldum-ool.
In March 2022, he was part of the 55th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade in the Chernigov region, who gained approval by keeping civilians in a basement, ... in conditions similar to a concentration camp, as documented by “IStories”.
During the occupation of Yagodnoye, the russian military locked about 350 residents in a school basement for almost a month - ten people died.
So no wonder that Chuldum-ool participated in the United Russia primaries in Tyva, as did fifty other war participants taking first place in the voting. In September he will be able to run in the so-called "elections" to the parliament of the republic.

⚡️EXCLUSIVE: SBU Conducts Complex Operation to Disrupt Russian Military Logistics in Crimea
Kyiv Post sources report that the Ukrainian defense forces, along with Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), conducted a several-day operation to disrupt the logistics supporting the operation of Russian troops in Crimea.
According to preliminary information, a complex strike was made on substations and power supply networks, as well as stocks of light oil products in Russia’s Krasnodar region.
Kyiv Post's source explained that initially, Ukraine launched missile strikes on two ferries bound for the "Kavkaz" port and utilized for military supply to the aggressor.
Then, SBU drones targeted power substations supplying electricity directly to the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula and to the waters of the Kerch Strait, including ports.

"Children in Russia also love to eat chocolate": Ritter Sport CEO explained the decision to maintain business in Russia, as reported by Bild.
"You cannot win a war through food restrictions. Our decision was correct, and I would make it again exactly the same way," said Andreas Ronken, the company's CEO.
Ritter Sport also explained that Russia is the second-largest market for sales. Reducing production would lead to a large number of layoffs and negatively impact farmers who grow cocoa in West Africa, Central, and South America.
5 orphans deported to Russia were returned to Ukraine
"We managed to save five pupils of the Novopetriv boarding school in the Mykolaiv region. The children survived for 3 months on the lonely front line, hiding from bombs and rockets in the basement without food and water, and then also experienced the horrors of deportation. In mid-July 2022, they were kidnapped by the Russians at gunpoint and moved to the occupied territory," said Mykola Kuleba, the founder of the Save Ukraine organization.
In October 2022, the occupiers took them to Crimea, and then to Anapa, Krasnodar Territory. From there, the children were rescued and taken to a safer territory, to Georgia.
NATO plans to allocate $40 billion to help Ukraine every year, but Hungary will participate in it only if it is a war in Europe, — the head of the Foreign Ministry of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó.
"The leadership of NATO offers to provide this assistance, given the fact that the conflict in Ukraine will drag on.
I indicated that Hungary will take a financial part in this only if, according to the Washington Treaty, it is connected with the war in Europe," he said at the end of an informal meeting with colleagues from the member states of the Alliance in Prague.
Sijarto also opposed the sending of allied military instructors to Ukraine.
"No one attacked a NATO member state, so there is no defense task to be performed by the Alliance in Ukraine. We insist that no Hungarian soldier should take part in this," the minister added.
