According to a UN report, russia has subjected Ukrainian prisoners to torture throughout their captivity, including rape, beatings, and electric shocks. The report highlights that many of these documented abuses involved personnel from various government agencies, suggesting a high level of coordination.
The report also notes that prison guards were aware of the mistreatment and had the opportunity to stop it but failed to do so. Additionally, russian officials have publicly called for the cruel treatment and execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war, further fueling these abuses.”

The nine hundred and fifty-fifth day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
During the past day, 159 combat clashes were recorded.
According to detailed information, yesterday the enemy launched three rocket strikes with four rockets, 82 airstrikes, using, in particular, 142 anti-aircraft missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas. In addition, he carried out more than 4,400 attacks, 161 of them from rocket salvo systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Stepne, Obody, Bilokopytove, Yastrubyne, Pavlivka, Bondarivshchyna, Mirlogi, Katerynivka, Kharkiv, Vovchansk, Bilashi, Hlushkivka, Nadiya, Izyumske, Zarichne, Ozerne, Liman, Zakitne, Pereizne, Riznikivka, Yurkivka, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Katerynivka, Pokrovsk, Selidove, Velyka Novosilka, Nesteryanka, Kushugum and Stepnohirsk.
Over the past day, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an air defense device, one artillery device in a firing position, three control points, one control point of the UAV and one radar of the invaders.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued offensive and assault actions. Four combat clashes took place here in the districts of Staritsa, Vovchansk and Tykhoi.

In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled three assault actions. The enemy tried to advance near Verkhnokamyanskyi and Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped nine enemy attempts to break through our defenses. The main efforts of the occupiers, with the support of aviation, were applied in the area of Chasovoy Yar, Kalynyvka, Stupochok and Andriivka.
Yesterday, the invaders continued to actively operate in the Toretsk direction. In total, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders in the Toretsk and Shcherbinivka districts 14 times. He carried out airstrikes with KABs.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 15 assaults and attacks in the areas of Mykolaivka, Selidove and Lysivka settlements, where the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to dislodge our units from the occupied lines.
In the direction of Kurakhiv, the Defense Forces stopped enemy attacks near Tsukuryny, Gostroy, Georgiyivka, Antonivka, Kostyantynivka and in the direction of Bogoyavlenka, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops 28 times.
In the Orihiv direction, four combat clashes took place in the areas of Robotyny, Maly Shcherbaki, and Kamiansky.
The operational situation on the Volyn and Poliske directions has not changed much. There were no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups.
Defense forces of Ukraine continue the operation in the Kursk region.
On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the occupiers maintain a military presence, fire on populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and carry out sabotage and intelligence activities against Ukraine.
Fighting continues almost along the entire contact line. Ukrainian soldiers hold back enemy attacks. Our artillery, reconnaissance, aviation, and unmanned systems are conducting combat work while exhausting the enemy's forces.

SHELL STARVATION ALERTS FOR RUSSIA
Russian Z-bloggers are complaining about a rapidly growing shortage of shells in various parts of the front line, with dire warnings that the problem is quickly spreading.
They know the issue is caused by the destruction of the vital depots by Ukraine, but they can’t understand why, with factories pouring out shells every day, they aren’t arriving in the frontline.
Partly that’s down to volumes.
If you have three million shells continuously in storage and use 300,000 a month while producing 200,000 and importing random numbers from N Korea, then you’re only using up around 50-100k per month. You have a big cushion that rises and falls depending on use and replacement.
Remove the cushion - as Ukraine has done and you have two problems. One is getting the shells from the factory to the front when you no longer have the distribution point of the depots. You don’t just reorganise something on that scale overnight - or even in a couple of weeks. The system in place was flowing well and worked perfectly until Ukraine destroyed it. Rebuilding it is a massive undertaking, even more so as Russian railways suffer from constant ‘partisan’ problems. Then there is the issue of redeploying trucks and creating new distribution nodes. Preferably ones not as easily taken out as the depots.
Remember too, this is Russia. Things don’t happen very fast and there was never anyway at any time this wasn’t going to take time and have impact in the front.
Over time they will overcome it, by it’s likely cripple the Russians ability to maintain the advances they’ve managed in the past couple of months.
The bloggers are complaining that orders aren’t changing though, officers are still forcing heatwave attacks without supporting infantry - something one described as ‘criminal orders’.
It’s tough in the Russian army. But who this side of the frontline cares because I don’t. The more they suffer the happier I am.

Putin is planning an endless war, with soldiers starting barely out of daycare.
So, he plans that in 15 years, cannon fodder will be needed in even greater quantities. That is why Russia is going to ban the sale of condoms and contraceptives to some categories of the population and allow others to sell them only by passport.

And next year, I think we will solve the issues of condoms, divorce, and abortion. Putin has said recently that children need to be taught about "important things" from the earliest age. We can guess that the "important things" will not include self-respect and respecting territorial integrity of other countries.

A Kremlin propaganda ploy to deflect criticism away from a “drunk” front-line commander renowned for ordering soldiers on suicide missions has backfired.
Vladimir Solovyov, the host of state TV Rossiya-One’s daily chat show, last month described soldiers’ widows as liars for accusing Col Alexei Ksenofontov of being drunk and then sending their husbands to their deaths
He told his audience that he personally knew Col Ksenofontov, who was made a “Hero of Russia” in April.
“Alexei is a normal commander, a thinking commander capable of competently preparing and carrying out a task,” he said.
“They have slandered a hero.”
But instead of silencing the mourning women, Mr Solovyov’s intervention has heaped more embarrassment onto the Kremlin by triggering new accusations and given ordinary Russians a rare glimpse of the medieval techniques used by their military commanders.

Astra, the Russian opposition Telegram news channel that published the original complaints, said it had received dozens of messages in the past few weeks from angry women.
“After his [show], dozens of relatives of the military contacted the editorial office responding to Solovyov,” it said this week, before posting several more accusations on its Telegram channel.
Some of these criticisms were also posted directly on social media channels.
One woman wrote on the Kremlin-controlled VK social media website that she wanted Col Ksenofontov, whose call sign is “Tiger”, to die as her husband had.
“Solovyov, interview all of us. Look how many women are cursing your Ksenofontov. Talk to the women who wish death to the Tiger,” she wrote.
Criticising the Russian army comes at great risk for people living in Russia. Police arrest people for the slightest indiscretion and charge them with “discrediting the Russian army”, which carries a prison sentence.
Mothers and wives of soldiers in Russia were considered to have some leeway for criticising the government, but earlier this year, police detained several women and have now classified a group that had pushed for men mobilised into the army in 2022 to be given a break as a “foreign agent”. This is a derogatory term and makes it far harder for the group to operate.
Even so, in new comments published this week by Astra, Alina Bolvinova described how a drunk Col Ksenofontov had ordered her husband on a suicide mission near the town of Avdiivka in February without ammunition for his rifle.
“They were sent out as cannon fodder,” she said. “Can a mentally healthy person give such orders? A person who does not enjoy killing. I think not.”
The Kremlin has deployed mass infantry tactics over the past few months to push forward its front line, suffering more than 1,000 casualties every day.
The Russian military leadership has been heavily criticised throughout the war for its barbaric methods.
Last month, two Russian drone operators posted a video accusing their commander of ordering them on a suicide mission in revenge for an argument. Another video showed an enraged Russian commander punching young soldiers in the face.

This is a Ukrainian jet drone and it flew over the Belgorod region.
The Russians announced they shot it down, but have not shown any footage of the destruction.
