❗️Traces of radioactive Cesium-137 were detected along Norway’s border with russia - The Barents Observer
Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA) says the amount of Cesium discovered in the air filters is "very low." Bredo Møller with DSA’s Emergency Preparedness unit at Svanhovd is not worried.
"The levels are clearly higher than normal, but pose no risk to humans or the environment," Møller said.
The origin of Cesium-137 is still unknown, according to the DSA. Several nuclear-powered icebreakers and submarines are operating in the Barents Sea. However, Norwegian experts consider it unlikely that the release came from an operating reactor at sea. Another possibility, in their opinion, that it may be linked to the development or testing of the Russian nuclear-powered missile Burevestnik, with the launch site located on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago, where the USSR conducted nuclear tests until 1990.

European Commission Deduces €200 Million Fine from Hungary’s EU Budget Over Asylum Rights Violations
The European Commission has initiated a special procedure to deduct a €200 million fine from Hungary’s share of the EU budget after the country failed to pay the penalty imposed by the European Court of Justice for long-term violations of asylum rights. Hungary missed two deadlines, the first at the end of August and the second on September 17.
The fine will be deducted through the "set-off procedure," which allows the Commission to withhold payments earmarked for Hungary from the EU budget, including €21 billion in frozen cohesion and recovery funds due to Hungary's weakening rule of law. A European Commission representative stated that the process will take time, as they must determine which payments can cover the fine.
Hungary is also facing a €1 million daily fine for continuing to defy the European Court’s ruling, which deemed the country’s asylum restrictions "an unprecedented and extremely serious violation of EU law."
In response to these sanctions, Hungary’s government, led by Viktor Orbán, has threatened to "voluntarily" transport migrants to Belgium and has expanded programs allowing Russian and Belarusian citizens to enter Hungary despite EU restrictions.
Panic at Gazprom
The Sudzha gas metering station, captured by Ukrainian troops, is not working properly, reports oil and gas analyst Mikhail Krutikhin: there is no electricity, the batteries that were supposed to support the station are dead, and there is no technical staff. Gazprom cannot control the pumping of gas towards Europe.
Gazprom is offering Ukraine to move the gas delivery point 300 km into Russian territory, to the Dolgoe station, but Ukraine is not agreeing. "And what will Gazprom do if Dolgoe ends up in Ukrainian hands?" - "We will have to move the gas delivery point to Urengoy," Gazprom employees bitterly joke in response.
How many other "GRAU" arsenals are there in Russia, like the one that was blown up in Toropka?
The 107 GRAU arsenal in Toropka is one of the 7 large weapons bases in the European part of Russia. Analysts talk about 6 others.
📌 23rd arsenal of GRAU
It is located only 16 km south of the already destroyed 107th arsenal near the city of Toropets. This warehouse is about half the size of the already destroyed one. What kind of ammunition is stored on it is questionable.
But the fact that the Ukrainian special services hit the 107th shows its priority over the 23rd.
📌 13th arsenal of GRAU
Further north in the Novgorod region near the village of Kotovo. It is about 680 km from the border with Ukraine, that is, about 200 km further than Toropets. This warehouse has a total area of about 3 square km.
📌 51st arsenal of GRAU
It is located east of Moscow near the city of Kirzhach in the Vladimir region, so it can be a difficult target due to the density of air defense equipment.
This is a rather large warehouse with a total area of about 3.5 square kilometers. The border with Ukraine is about 530 km.
📌 73rd arsenal of GRAU
In the Vladimir region, next to the villages of Ivanovo, Krutovo and Eseno, which can be considered the largest, because it occupies an area of about 7 square meters. km
It also underwent repair and modernization between 2018 and 2021, just like the 107th arsenal. This may indicate that it stores not only a lot of ammunition, but also quite expensive products. It is located 650 kilometers from the border.
📌 67th arsenal of GRAU
But it can be considered one of the closest, located near the city of Karachev, Bryansk region - 114 km.
It is located close to a population of 20,000. At the same time, as of 2021, detailed satellite images show that part of the ammunition in this warehouse with a total area of about 3.5 square km were stored in the open air.
📌 68th arsenal of GRAU
The 68th GRAU arsenal near the city of Mozdok in North Ossetia is the most distant, about 700 km from the front line. This is another updated warehouse with an area of 2.2 square km
From "The Analyst":
KHARKIV UPDATE
The front here has not been stagnant, with a constant ebb and and flow of fighting.
The Russians have been trying to hold on, especially in Vovchansk, while the Ukrainian campaign to undermine their ability to do so has been persistent.
Ukrainian use of air strikes, their dogged persistence in blocking every move the Russians try to make to improve their position, has finally paid off.
The Russian strategy was this attempt to create a buffer zone to stop the repeated raids over the border, with a secondary objective of eventually, combined operations for an attack on Kupiansk, a key defensive town on the northern most part of the Eastern Front.
The Kursk operation denied both sides the forces required to bring their plans to fruition.
The intensified use of drones but for recon and attack, has isolated the Russians in Vovchansk further from supplies and reinforcements.
A Mig-29 Strike using GBU-39 bombs with delayed fuses, hit the main Russian operating base in the town, at the former hospital, totally levelling it.
It’s believed commanders and two companies were destroyed.
The Russians have tried to prise the Ukrainians out of Tike to the east of the town using bombs, and thermobaric artillery, failing to dislodge them.
Tike is on a hill, and the Ukrainians have seen Russians attempts to prepare assaults on it and ended them before they could begin, mostly with artillery strikes.
In a swift move the Ukrainians in Northern Vovchansk were able to sweep east as forces from Tike swept west, meeting in the middle and creating for the first time, a unified front.
Russia doesn’t have the resources to put into this front to make any real difference right now, and too a point nor do the Ukrainians, but Ukraine is making the most of what it has and exploits it to provide future advantages.
This at least is good news as the Pokrovsk front continues to be exceptionally stressful, with endless strings of small Russian gains. They still haven’t stopped trying to advance despite the huge cost.

You might remember Kadyrov mounted a machinegun on his cybertruck which is against the rules and restrictions Tesla laid out.
Looks like as a consequence Elon Musk remotely disabled the vehicle.
👍😁
"Are you seriously so retarded that you think I gave a Cybertruck to a Russian general? This is amazing," Musk wrote, responding to a journalist’s tweet.

Kadyrov said he had sent "two more" Cybertrucks "to the special military operation zone."
Earlier, he complained that Elon Musk had "remotely disabled one vehicle."
Kadyrov said that the "remote shutdown did not affect" the other two pickup trucks and that they were "operating normally and smoothly."
The two Cybertrucks shown in the video are equipped with weapons - as is the vehicle Kadyrov showed in August. The video also shows drones being shot down. Where and when (and why) it was filmed is unknown.
The two Air Force bases in Alaska are Elmendorf and Eilson. The Army base in Fairbanks has a huge airfield. But none of them are named Bagram.
