Swedish investigators have found evidence of a connection between far-right extremist Rasmus Paludan and the Wagner PMC. Paludan is well-known for his multiple attempts to burn the Quran, the most recent of which occurred in January in Stockholm during a demonstration against Turkey's refusal to back Sweden's bid to join NATO. Investigators have now discovered that Paludan has close ties to six Wagnerians on Russian social media platforms, leading them to believe that the burning of the Islamic holy book was orchestrated by Russia through its agent.

Yale University professor and historian of Eastern Europe Timothy Snyder spoke to the UN Security Council at a meeting called by Russia to discuss Russophobia. Snyder explained to the members of the UN how Russia uses the term Russophobia to justify its war, genocide, and war crimes. He also discussed why Moscow uses this term in relation to the invasion of Ukraine as a way of spreading imperial propaganda, in which the aggressor claims to be the victim.

In response to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that the International Criminal Court should take a fair stance. He further noted that China will continue to act in a fair manner in regards to the Ukrainian crisis and peace talks. Given that Chinese President Xi Jinping is visiting Putin today, one can only speculate what a fair stance would be.
