Ankara seeks to strengthen its global influence and establish new ties beyond its traditional Western allies, as the Erdoğan administration believes the "geopolitical center of gravity is shifting away from Western economies."
However, Turkey does not intend to distance itself from NATO.

🤡Russian minister of foreign affairs Lavrov congratulated the russian propaganda news agency TASS on the 120th anniversary of its founding.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the phrase "TASS is authorized to declare" is familiar to many generations of Russian and Soviet citizens.
According to the dictator's horseman:
“This is a brand and a sign of quality, proven by more than a century of history,”
"Authorized to declare" - the very anti-thesis of media freedom, of freedom of speech!
On 27 February 2022, "under the circumstances of the new media regulation enforced by the Russian government, which is heavily restricting media freedom", the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) unanimously decided to suspend TASS as "not being able to provide unbiased news", pending an exclusion decision.
- As for the persistent rumour that Lavrov is no longer alive - well, the statement about Lavrov congratulating TASS, was of course released by .. TASS! So the rumour continues.

A prime example of how to conduct psychological warfare has been released by the russian foreign ministry.
The ministry instil fear in the western politician's minds by releasing statements containing known fear trigger words: nuclear, doctrine, escalation
Unfortunately, western politicians are not immune to this psychological warfare and the russians are having some success in this area - because we allow them to.
As scary as the topic of nuclear war is, the reality is that a system has been created of Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD). An attacker cannot be successful - not even the russians.
According to MAD, as soon as a nuclear attack would be launched by russia, a nuclear counter-strike is immediately launched that results in russia's destruction. It is a loss-loss scenario. A zero gain game. As soon as Putin was to press his button, there is no more Putin.
Yet we somehow seem to allow russia to bully our politicians using nuclear rhetoric, such as in the statement just issued below:

Russia is considering revising its nuclear doctrine due to what it perceives as the "escalation course" of the West.
"Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Serhiy Ryabkov, mentioned that the worsening foreign policy situation, driven by the actions of the United States and its allies, has prompted Moscow to assess whether its current nuclear deterrence strategy is adequate. He stated that the process of updating the relevant document is ongoing, though it's too early to predict when this revision will be finalized."

And note how it is playing on politician's beliefs that there is room for avoidance of this "scary change". It is "an ongoing process" - it is not too late to change it. "You'd better let us continue killing Ukrainians and we might not do this after all".
Are we letting the bully win?
The Red Line
One of those tiring phrases used so often by politicians and the media is the "red line".
This "line", which, if crossed, represents some form of limit of what can be accepted, and also, a boundary when something will really change or be done about something.
The problem is, if you start looking around for it - you will soon realise that it doesn't exist.
There is a lot of discussion amongst people who like to talk, write and think - as opposed to do and act - about Ukraine launching a counter-attack in Kursk and if this was the correct strategic decision or not, what the objectives are and the different pros and cons.
The one thing the counter-attack against Kursk has shown, is precisely that the red line doesn't exist. Armageddon didn't start when soldiers crossed the border. There was no earth changing moment when some boundary was passed.
And having demonstrated to the world that the red line doesn't exist, what the Ukrainian people really needs, right here and now, is the permission to strike deeper against military targets in russia to defend the people of Ukraine against deadly attacks.
There is no red line preventing this.
There is red blood being spilled every day until this decision is made.

When Oleksii saw the footage from Bucha, he felt compelled to fight for his country. Like all mothers, she tried to dissuade him because she didn't want to lose her son but he replied:
If I don't go and someone else doesn't go, then russia will soon be running our backyard.
He died early this year in the Donetsk region, aged just 24. We must not forget his sacrifice, not just for Ukraine but for the free world 😌
His mother, who is broken hearted, wants to emphasize that people from the Roma community are also defending their country.

🕯 World kickboxing champion Roman Holovatyuk died at the front.
Among the achievements of one of the best WAKO kickboxing athletes is a medal at the 2017 World Games, the title of world champion, victories at the World and European Cups.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Roman voluntarily joined the Ukrainian army, leaving behind a successful sports career.
