Russia will hold military exercises near the United States - in the Caribbean Sea
Russian warships and aircraft are due to arrive in the Caribbean in the coming weeks for exercises, and the U.S. is monitoring them. Russia did not notify the United States about the exercises, although countries usually do this so as not to provoke misunderstandings and complications. Still, U.S. officials say the military of any country has the right to conduct exercises in international waters. Previously, russia has already done this several times in the Caribbean.
