@TheStrugglingScientists There's a wonderful story in HJ Judson's classic "The Eighth Day of Creation" about Max Delbruck - who immediately realised how important their work was - sequestering Meselson and Stahl at a marine biological research station and not letting them out until they finished writing their paper.
