@the_etrain Ah, like the simpsons thing with a gift basket of poison?
@MissInformation Why are you posting pictures of me?
@livinghell ...what? Anything to link so i can understand?
@interfluidity ...and now i think how a pointy headed deep state would be dangerous because it could easily emerge from the ground because of the point.
@the_etrain Oooh yeah, i saw movie posters with "IT" on them, read it "eye-tee" and wondered if i was not menacing enough to be a software developer.
@TheBreadmonkey You're scaring me. I am already sure garlic does not taste as intense as before, but what if that stops working?!?
@OpenComputeDesign Don't hate the children, hate their parents for making them this way...
@catsalad You are correct, forbidding a choker but allowing ties is gender based discrimination because the tie is what you say and associated with male.
@RnDanger
You are correct, but in this specific case the laws have not been changed yet, as far as i know.
If the changing is not according to legal process, you have a continuity problem and the "legal" you are doing is not actually covered by the democratic votes (if those are democratic, who knows *cough* gerrymandering *cough*)
So yeah, your wording is more robust in general.
@OpenComputeDesign Oh, and the next time you feel useless, remember there's the seed of being a hero in you.
@OpenComputeDesign I mean generally, nothing's perfect, nobody can deliver perfection.
But the "ship first, think later" mentality has taken over and makes this absurd. Plus the highjacking of updates for making stuff worse.
@OpenComputeDesign I vote we set up a legal fund and a meeting for you. Also a health spa appointment to regenerate your battered hands.
@RnDanger Came here to say that, had "legal" in mind but "legitimate" is the same thing in this context.
@livinghell Hmm, sounds mostly right, but i tend toward "fascists create negative emotions", as there usually is some point of discontent which is attributed to the wrong thing, and i would see the emotions we talk about mostly at the point of (mis)attribution.
The legitimate discontent is remaining, so while there already were negative emotions, those specifically remain, as the problem does not get solved. The ones that are acted upon are seperate in my view.
Completely agree on "we should not be afraid to touch negative emotions".
@Alice Life beyond combustion is an interesting concept. Are you implying your linkedin will haunt people or how does this work? :-D
@interfluidity Hey, that part sounds like standard US stuff. If he also sends out the cia to ship more drugs from abroad, he's one step toward a normal president.
@interfluidity I'd agree with cory doctorov here and say the management and grid connection hardware (or better, its software) is the sabotage risk. Like inverters that need an internet connection, as long as that is common the stuff is not actually safer.
@light
I like your idea of giving the teacher a bad grade on their motivational skills, but implicitly.
@OpenComputeDesign seems if you put down why it is hard to do, you're half way there

I generally invite questions. If you look for a clue if it is ok to ask hard questions: this is it. As long as it is in good faith and you want to know wtf i was thinking, go ahead please.
