#Artemis #SLS Network switch has been replaced and NASA is targeting 0604UTC (1:04am EST, 10:04pm PST) for liftoff.

#Artemis1 #SLS update from NASA (via the Everyday Astronaut [live feed][1]) is that the hydrogen leak has not come back, prop loading is complete and in refresh. The network switch is being repaired. There is no slip to the launch time and NASA is still targeting the start of the Launch Window.

#NASA #Artemis1 - T- 56 min back in core stage topping on the Liquid Hydrogen tank and counting Have an update on the situation with the Range , issue they had was with the radar ethernet switch, the range is going to change it out and reverify it, will take about 70 minutes according to NASA PAO to do that work Image shows the in side of Firing Room 1 where the launch attempt is being ochestrated.

Tomorrow will be the last day we see the Sun until February. Well we’ll likely not see it as it is forecast to be overcast. People image we have one long night, but that’s not true. We have a varying amount of twilight as the Sun skims below the horizon.

I own a relatively small telescope, with 300-m focal length, only. For many objects this is too short. On the other hand, it allows me to take some nice wide-angle #AstroPhotography shots.

For example, I can image the Cygnus Loop in one go. Here is a preliminary result, using a dual-narrowband filter (H-alpha, OIII), with only basic processing applied. The Moon was too bright to also take an RGB image, so the star colors are wrong. Need to invest more time...
