It's pretty hard to take pictures of photos, but I'd like to digitalize all my family albums using my reflex. They are especially hard to focus on.

Do the more experts photographers out there have any input on the best and most efficient way to do this?

@arteteco Whats a reflex? Most people just use scanners usually.

@freemo It's a digital camera, I got a nikon 5300.

I know usually people use scanners, but I don't have one here and usually they are at lower quality than a shoot with a good camera. Also, dust may be a more felt problem there.

I've seen people doing some nice setup to take pictures, just wondering if there were fediverse tip about it

If everything else fails I'll just sneak in the office I used to work in on a Sunday and use their scanner, though =D

@arteteco
Some tripods let you mount your camera facing down. You can put the tripod on a table, focus manually and disable the autofocus. Then just switch the photos.
